and has served in Brussels (including as UK

Denton Football Club have just embarked upon an ambitious project, to enable 15 year old girls from Fort Worth, Texas, to exchange with our own girls here in the UK. Players will stay with host families, during which time, they will not only experience the UK or USA family life, but attend the local schools, enter domestic tournaments, and in the case of our girls visiting the USA, a chance to find out about sporting opportunities, that will be a available to them, once they leave school.


A tremendous amount of work has to be done before we can complete the exchange, scheduled for June 2009, with the biggest task being that of finance. The total cost of the project will be in the region of £12k, and we anticipate that through local sponsorship, small grants, and many fundraising events, we can raise the money.
